Unveiled ahead of the Daejeon Expo, Sephia EV pushed Kia’s electrification technology forward. It featured a solar-assisted charging system to extend driving range and offered interior quality comparable to combustion-engine cars. With a maximum range of 150 km per charge, it stood out for its engineering excellence in the early days of conversion-based EVs.

As the successor to Besta EV, first showcased at the 1986 Asian Games, Sephia EV carried Kia’s electric legacy into a new era and helped advance the brand’s eco-friendly technologies.
