New Rhino was the successor to the original Rhino and Wide Boxer models that combined both into a unified midsize truck. Alongside the compact Bongo and the heavy-duty Granto, it completed Kia’s commercial truck lineup and helped strengthen the brand’s position in the commercial vehicle market. Produced until the early 2000s, New Rhino was also the last midsize truck developed entirely by Kia.
