K7 was a premium E-segment sedan embodying Kia’s design philosophy, joining K5 and K9 to complete the K series sedan lineup. The “K” in its name stood for Kia, Korea, and Kratos—the Greek word for strength. Showcasing Kia’s technology and design capabilities of the time, K7 pointed toward the brand’s future direction.

Sold overseas as Cadenza, it played a key role in global markets. In 2021, K7 was reborn as K8, carrying forward Kia’s premium sedan lineage.
