Developed on the heels of the original Brisa's success, Brisa Ⅱ added a sense of sophistication to the practicality and economy of its predecessor. Its sharp, angular design gave it a more modern look, while upgraded features enhanced its overall appeal. Brisa Ⅱ was also the last passenger car produced by Kia before Korea’s Automotive Industry Rationalization Policy took effect in 1981.
