Mobility
for Everyone

For some, the freedom of movement is taken for granted.
For others, it can feel like an unreachable dream for a lifetime.

To create a world where everyone can travel freely,
Kia launched Kia Green Trip in 2012.

For over 13 years, Kia Green Trip has supported
specially adapted vehicles and customized services,
providing safe and convenient mobility to
more than 100,000 people. (as of August 2025)

“Returning to my hometown after 60 years…
I will cherish this deep emotion forever.”

“It was a miraculous experience
I could never have dared to attempt with my physical limitations.”

“It was more than freedom of movement—
it became a comfort for my life.”

Kia Green Trip continues to move beyond mobility,
carrying lives toward moments that matter.

When Movement
Inspires
a Better Tomorrow

Kia believes that mobility goes beyond mere
physical transportation. It’s a force
that can change lives and reshape society.

Because everyone deserves the right
to move toward a better tomorrow.

In 2012, that belief gave birth to
the Green Light Project (GLP).
Since then, Kia has been planting the seeds of self-reliance
in 19 communities across 15 countries in Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe.

Since 2012, the lives of more than 925,000 people
have been transformed through the GLP project.
That change has spread beyond villages and nations,
carrying the light of hope even further.

In the harsh terrain of Ethiopia and Mozambique,
GLP centers opened the door to education for children,
brought medical services to more remote communities,
and provided job training
that created new economic opportunities.

“I couldn’t afford high school,
but thanks to the GLP school, I’m now in college.”

- Dyton, GLP graduate (Malawi)1

“I used to fear the future.
Now I dream of becoming an auto mechanic!”

- Shimero, GLP graduate (Ethiopia)2

When movement changes lives,
it becomes something greater.
To Kia, that is the true meaning of mobility.

Stepping Towards
a Sustainable Future

What once moved people and communities
is now moving the planet toward
something greater―sustainable mobility.

By partnering with the non-profit organization
The Ocean Cleanup, Kia is helping recover
discarded plastic waste from our oceans—
then giving it new life as vehicle accessories.
It’s an innovative step towards
turning pollution into purpose.

It’s also a reflection of Kia’s commitment to sustainability
and our promise to coexist with nature
as a responsible mobility company.

We dream of a world where
movement flows freely through every space
and leads us to a better future connecting
the past, present, and future.
That’s the kind of movement Kia is driving forward.
