Kia: Made for the
Times

In the 1960s, as Korea entered
a new era of industrialization,
Kia answered the call
with the K-360—a sturdy three-wheeler
that became the lifeline for small business owners,
even on rough, unpaved roads.

In the 1970s, Brisa became the first car
for many Koreans, loved for its affordable price
and low maintenance.

The 1980s saw the arrival of Ceres,
a trusted workhorse for farmers,
and Bongo, a versatile vehicle that served
as everything from a family camper
to an ambulance and light truck.

By the late ’80s, Kia responded to
a growing demand for compact,
practical cars by ushering in the "My Car" era with Pride.

And in the 1990s, as lifestyles evolved,
so did Kia with Sportage, a vehicle designed for
both city streets and outdoor adventures.

Through it all, Kia continued to deliver
what the times demanded
and what people truly needed.

Evolution of Mobility:
Enriching Everyday Lives

Born from a variety of needs,
Kia vehicles have steadily moved people forward—
adding color to everyday life.
With Kia, people shaped lifestyles
that reflected who they were.
And over time, those lifestyles became
more diverse, more expressive.

Conscious of this shift, Kia began to ask:
If no two lives are the same,
why should mobility serve just one purpose?
What if a single vehicle could adapt to many lifestyles—
wouldn’t that make life richer?

These questions opened the door
to a new perspective on mobility.

And as always,
Kia began searching for the optimal way forward.
The answer wasn’t a car designed for one purpose
but a flexible platform built to embrace
the full spectrum of life.

with integrated services such as vehicle management,
charging, maintenance, and financing, offering
complete mobility solutions tailored to specific needs.

And this is only the beginning.
With technologies like autonomous driving, robotics,
and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM),
